About Me

Ah, wedding picture.
I'll never look this cute again.
From the moment I found out I was pregnant, I devoured many books on pregnancy, parenting, and child development. I've always been a bit of a bibliovore, but my tastes usually run to fiction rather than these types of books. After Isaac was born, I often found myself with a sleeping baby in one arm and my iPhone in the opposing hand with an ebook open on it. I also often find myself torn between wanting to read the latest book on my wishlist and also wanting to read more on parenting and child development, not to mention begin perusing picture books and fiction series geared toward boys. (Yes before anyone says it, I know there's more to raising children than picking out books and reading to them.)

So the result of this struggle is this blog, where I will chronicle the books I read for Isaac's benefit and the ones I read for my own pleasure (and sanity). Take with you any information you find useful; feel free to comment or suggest things if you see fit; and please keep any negativity to yourself so as not to pollute the atmosphere, so to speak.
